Wincube Marketing: Supporting U.S. Market Entry for Korea’s Pioneering Gifting Service
To support the U.S. market entry of Wincube Marketing, a leading Korean gifting platform, we executed a five-month performance marketing campaign focused on its proprietary platforms: AAEGift (B2B) and Marina Gift (B2C). By precisely targeting Korean communities and corporate decision-makers, we successfully secured consistent traffic and conversion intent within the U.S. gift card market.
Gift card purchasing behavior in the U.S. is driven by both personal transactions and corporate demand for employee rewards and recognition. Based on Wincube Marketing’s market entry strategy, MXN Commerce USA developed a dual-track marketing funnel, separating B2C and B2B approaches.
For B2C Marina Gift, we expanded traffic by targeting the gifting needs of the Korean-American community (birthdays, anniversaries, remittances between Korean residents) through HeyKorean, MissyUSA, Google Ads, and Meta Ads. Retargeting and creative rotations were used to maximize conversion efficiency.
For B2B AAEGift, we focused on lead generation and consultation by targeting HR managers and C-level decision-makers through LinkedIn Ads and Reddit Ads. This strategy aimed to drive inquiries and transactions in the corporate gifting and employee recognition space.
Landing pages for each channel were localized to highlight gift card usage scenarios, tax and settlement FAQs, and structured for SEO to better match search intent. Throughout the campaign, we maintained a first-party, owned-channel strategy, measuring performance based on the quality of inbound traffic (high-relevance keywords, interests, and audience matching) and conversion intent metrics (consultation requests, cart additions, checkout flow entries). As a result, we consistently attracted qualified traffic from key target segments and established a solid foundation for ongoing B2B inquiries, meetings, and B2C purchase conversions.
