Sambo Advanced Materials: A Brand Consulting Project Supporting the U.S. Market Expansion of a Korean Textile Manufacturer

Description

We conducted a year-long brand development and localization consulting project led by MINT ECC to support Sambo Advanced Materials, a Korean textile manufacturer, in expanding into the U.S. market. As a result, we successfully launched the HOM (Heritage of Mollis) brand and completed all preparations for Amazon-based sales operations, including local marketing and logistics integration. Within just three months of launch, the brand achieved $20,000 in sales from a single product, marking a strong start to its U.S. market presence.

Sambo Advanced Materials had a strong ambition to expand into the U.S. market but faced challenges due to limited experience in brand development and branding execution.

Through the MINT ECC (Brand/Product Market Fit Consulting) track, MXN Commerce USA partnered with the client to establish a complete brand foundation—covering brand identity (BI) development, naming, brand architecture, design, and communication guidelines (voice & tone)—while simultaneously leading a localized product development process.

This included tailoring materials, packaging, product composition, and pricing strategies based on U.S. consumer insights. Special emphasis was placed on developing products with high growth potential on Amazon, precisely calibrating price positioning, defining unique selling propositions (USPs), and localizing copy and visual elements.

In the execution phase, the project seamlessly expanded into MINT OPS, MKT, and FLT, creating a fully integrated end-to-end operational framework.

This included catalog structuring, product-specific content (images, A+ pages, and storytelling), review and Q&A systems, advertising operations (Amazon PPC and retargeting), and fulfillment models (FBA/FBM).

By building SEO-friendly FAQ and content structures, the team improved organic discoverability and reduced the gap between awareness and conversion.

As a result, the newly launched HOM (Heritage of Mollis) brand achieved over $20,000 in sales from a single product within three months of launch, validating the effectiveness of its product–price–communication fit.

The project also demonstrated how MXN Commerce USA’s consulting framework allows strategic services like MINT ECC to naturally extend into execution-driven models (OPS, MKT, FLT), establishing a scalable and efficient partnership structure.

This success has laid the groundwork for future product line expansion, retail collaboration, and cross-border channel growth.
